BLUE SKY RESEARCH APPOINTS JOSEPH KULAKOFSKY TO DIRECTOR OF APPLICATIONS AND PRODUCT ENGINEERING
MILPITAS, Calif. -- Blue Sky Research, a manufacturer of laser based electro-optic products and subsystems, announces the appointment of Joseph Kulakofsky as Director of Applications and Product Engineering. Mr. Kulakofsky will report directly to Chris Gladding, President and CEO of Blue Sky Research.

Joseph strengthens our technical and management team, and comes to Blue Sky Research with 20 years of engineering and marketing experience in the photonics, telecommunications, and the fiber optics industries. As Director of Applications and Product Engineering, Joseph will be responsible for working with our customers, defining their needs and providing products that exceed their expectations," said Gladding.
Mr. Kulakofsky comes to Blue Sky Research from JDSU where he was Director of the Technical Product Support Group, and was responsible for all aspects of customer applications engineering and technical support. He previously served as manager of Technical Services and Applications Engineering for E-TEK Dynamics, and held several key marketing and technical positions within AT&T Microelectronics, in United States and Tokyo, Japan.
